Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd was formed almost 50 years ago with the expert knowledge of a two horticulturalist at the helm. One of the founders remains with the company today as Managing Director (Frank Curry). Brambledown Landsacape Services Ltd have grown to employ around 85 full time staff across 3 Northern offices.
Soft Landscaping projects have always been the foundation of Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd focus since incorporation in 1972. Brambledown Landscapes, with offices in Durham, Yorkshire and Northumberland, have won 16 National British Association of Landscape Industry (BALI) Awards in this time. Many of these commercial Landscape Awards have been Principal BALI Landscape Awards, placing Brambledown Landscapes as the number one commercial Landscape Contractor in the UK in schemes varying in size from £20k up to £3 million. As Brambledown Landscapes expanded its Northern Commercial Landscape Operation, its strengths grew, and multi-award winning schemes followed from its Wetherby, Durham and Tyne and Wear branches. Brambledown Landscapes still believe that the core values of the company lie with the basic practices of horticulture and indeed Soft Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance. Brambledown Landscapes may have also now become experts in building walls, roads, fences and footpaths or installing floodlights or tarmacing carparks, but our fundamental skills of planting, seeding and turfing along with Grounds Maintenance will always remain with us.

With over 85 Full time employees across County Durham, Northumberland, and Yorkshire, Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd can handle projects of all sizes. Brambledowns projects have ranged in value from £10,000 up to £3.5 million. From substantial earth moving Groundworks and planting of trees and shrubs on a large scale – to small individual Commercial plots, Brambledown employ the skills to cover all aspects of external works on a commercial basis. Brambledown hold several large Grounds Maintenance contracts with Industrial Estates such as Eddie Stobart, Cobalt Business Park and Quorum Business Park. Brambledown have a designated Grounds Maintenance team covering the North East & North West of England.
Brambledown have won upwards of 16 National BALI awards for recent Landscaping Projects across The North of England, namely at Segedunum Roman Fort in Wallsend, Herrington County Park County Durham, Barnes Park Sunderland, Consett Park Northumberland, Sheffield Botanical Gardens Yorkshire and Team Valley Gateshead way back in the 1980’s.
Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd have a wide range of horticultural and commercial soft landscape machinery such as strimmers, grass cutters, bobcats, dumpers, JCB’s, 360 Excavators, tractors, Kubotas, low loaders and much more, enabling us to deliver large scale commercial Landcspae Projects in house, without the need for sub contract labour.
Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd are one of only a few Commercial Landscape Contractors to hold CHAS Accreditation, Silver level Constructionline, SAPCA, BALI and an ISO 9001 Standard Quality Policy.
