Over 800 semi-mature trees including 8 Metasequoia of 100cm girth were planted at the SAGE Headquarters by Brambledown Landscapes Services Ltd from our Durham Head offices. The SAGE HQ is situated near Newcastle and encorporates Large areas of woodland transplants and evergreen shrub mixes. The Sage offices are amongst the most prestigious in our region and the landscaping works carried out by Brambledown have been described by architects as “world class”. Every effort was made by Brambledown to source only the finest mature trees from Holland and Germany. Brambledown worked carefully to make sure that every aspect of the scheme was kept within budget and many of the trees were even planted under very difficult weather conditions as you can see below.

Several of the larger specimens trees had such huge girths that Brambledown had to lift them in using cranes.
