Barker and Stonehouse Living Wall

Brambledown were awarded the contract to create a Living Wall for Barker and Stonehouse at a North East Retail Park.  

Over almost 50 years, Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd have carried out numerous large scale and delicate commercial landscape works at both retail parks and industrial parks across the North of England, including Teesside Park, Cobalt Business Park, Silverlink, Team Valley Gateshead, and many others.  

The creation of a living wall by Brambledown was an intricate scheme, but our skilled and experienced soft landscape division enjoyed programming and planning d=safe working at height protocols in order to lant these shrubs to the specified design, created by local Landscape Architects which included an irrigation system to ensure that the plants were watered and maintained throughout the dry Summer months.  

Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd or Durham, North Yorkshire and Northumberland maintained the Barker and Stonehouse Living Wall, along with general Grounds Maintenance of the retail and Leisure park which included grass cutting, hedge trimming, vegetation clearance, tree pruning, leaf collection, road sweeping, gritting in winter, and general litter picking.
