Wharton Park Durham Landscaping works - 29th March 2016

Brambledown Landscapes Andrew Embleton and Matt Ayley feature in the Sunderland Echo and Chronicle this week whilst planting trees at Wharton Park in Durham City. Brambledown are carrying out landscaping works as part of the £3 million redevelopment of one of Durhams most prestigious and historic Parks which has been funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Wharton Park Durham is due to open in just over 10 weeks. Brambledown are also working as Main Contractors on another North East Heritage Lottery Park Restoration scheme in Necwastle. Walker Park is due to open at the end of July and is a £1.7 million scheme which involves all aspects of Hard and Soft Landscaping and Construction. This scheme is managed by Steve Lonsdale, whilst Thomas Curry and Jeff Minto are responsible for overseeing works at Wharton Park Durham.
