Our specialist Landscape work has vastly improved numerous public spaces, particularly Historic Parks, Community gardens, National Parks, Botanical Gardens and Town Parks. Our History

  1. 1972

    Brambledown Incorporated on 27th September 1972

  2. 1985

    Brambledown move to new Headquarters in Brandon Village, County Durham.

  3. 1986

    Brambledown win first of 16 National BALI Landscape Awards in the Winter of 1986 for "Hard and Soft Landscape Construction" at Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead Tyne and Wear.  The flagship scheme was judged to have been the best in its category for the year in terms of professional workmanship and positive contributions to the environment.

  4. 1989

    Brambledown win 2nd National British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) Award for Hard Landscaping works carried out at Ampleforth College in North Yorkshire.

    Environmental Improvements to Bourne Leisures largest Holiday Park where caravan residents remained in their properties. This was mainly a Civils and Groundworks project to begin with, which turned into an Environemtal scheme as the budget increased. Landscaping included Large scale Tree planting over several acres, shrub planting, spraying, clearance works, tree felling and shrub maintenance, earthworks, paving, drainage, weeding, stone walling, turfing, soiling, rabbit proofing, gates and fences.

    Value: £2 Million

    Full Historic Park Restoration including the buiilding of a new community centre within the Grounds of one of Northumberlands most prestigious Parks. Others works carried out include the construction of a Lost Garden, footpaths, brick walls, timber and steel fencing, gates, Play Area and Splash Pad, picnic benches, new tarmac carpark creation, drainage, soiling, seeding, planting pof trees and shrubs and hedging works.
