The construction of Herrington and Newbottle Play Area was undertaken for Phil Dorian at Sunderland City Council. This is one of numerous Play Area schemes that Brambledown have undertaken, with Brambledown having a very strong relationship with Sunderland City Council
The works included the construction of a childrens play area including a critical fall height wet pour safety surface. The park also included numerous items of Childrens play equipment. To finish the look of the project off, Brambledown were asked by Sunderland City Council to lay areas of turf and seed around the erected fence surrounding the play area. The site will be maintained by Brambledown for 12 months at which time it will be handed back to Sunderland City Council.
