The construction of sveral hundred metres of resin binded athways and large hard surfaced areas such as carpark construction formed the main bulk of the works here for Brambledown Landscape Contractors North East on Behalf of Leeming Associates Darlington. Also involved were for Brambledown were tree and shrub planting, raised timber planters, pin kerbing, ornamental planting, trip rails and instant hedging as well as grass seeding and turfing to large areas.

Barnard Castle Skate Park
Client:
The young people of Barnard Castle have been working towards a skate park for some time. The project involved laying a hard surface area suitable for skating and roller blading, fenced to match the existing multi-sports pitch adjacent to the proposed site and erect a skate park.
Central Focus, Meadowell, North Shields
Client: North Tyneside Council
Redevelopment of the Meadowell area of North Shields. The levels and walls create an amphitheatre effect, while the ‘Celtic Knot’ paving is a distinctive and unique feature. This project won a BALI National Landscape award for Hard Landscaping.
Chester-Le-Street Hospital
Client: Robertson Construction
Extensive Hard and soft Landscaping was provided by Brambledown for the new Chester-Le-Street hospital complex. The design also included the installation of ornate courtyard gardens (below) hidden away behind the hospitals main walls. These provided a relaxation area for patients of all ages at the hospital. Car parking facilities were provided along with pathways, entrance facilities and planting throughout the grounds.
