Wadworth Play Area in Doncaster opens to public
A new £65k Play Area has been completed in Doncaster (Wadworth) by Brambledown Sport and Play Contractors Division.
The new Play Area, and associated landscaping, in Wadworth Doncaster consisted of the refurbsihment of an existing play area site. So extensive though were the works to the site by Brambledown that a complete new Play Area had to be created, much to the pleasure of local children and passers by in Wadworth Doncaster.
Specifically the Play area in South Yorkshire consists of new play equipment and timber play structures aswell as timber fencing across the area where the old Play area once stood. Brambledown were involved in the demolition and removal of all old play equipment and groundwork to re-level natural and man made features, and to create new mounds and levels for the new play area. This meant that a complete removal of old, worn out, surfaces was required before new pathways and safety surfacing could be installed and created. The work was completed in May 2011 by Brambledown on behalf of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council and the new Wadworth Play Area has been warmly appreciated by the local community.
