Barnes Park Sunderland Phase 1
With Phase 1 of Branes Park Sunderland Regeneration by Brambledown over halfway complete, despite the amount of snow that has fallen in the North East, Brambledown have already moved well into the preparation stage for the Phase 2 works to the site. Major Tree Clearances have been ongoing as well as prelimanary clearance works of much of the old Barnes Park. Brambledown were also involved in a handout scheme of new trees to local schoolchildren as well as planting several hundred trees already accross the site and installing new fencing and hundreds of metres of new tarmac roads and pathways across Barnes Park.
Many New features and artwork structures have been installed at Barnes Park Sunderland by Brambledown craftsmen including tree sculptures and rock sculptures. Several Hundred metres of underground cabling and drainage systems have been put into place by Brambledown accross Barnes Park and you can see by the pictures below that Brambledown are well underway with the transformation of this truely magnificent historic Park.
The regeneration of Barnes Park Sunderland has brought keen interest and excitement from the local residents and the entire city of Sunderland. Here are a few ongoing construction photos to give an idea of the logictical difficulties that Barnes Park has presented to Brambledown, and how they have overcome the construction of difficult sections to phase 1.
