Work Continues after Cold Snap At Greater High Cross Newcastle For Brambledown
Brambledown workers were back onsite this month after what have been some of the worst weather conditions in the 38 year history of the company. Temperatures fell below brick laying temperature and snow covered most of the ground so that even foundations could not be dug.
Now Brambledown are making up time, working long hours, to bring the scheme back in line with the tight schedule and Brambledown Contracts Manager Neil Blakelock is very pleased with progress so far,
Works to Greater High Cross are another phase in the Regeneration of Newcastle's West End and Inner City Areas. Brambledown, led by Neil Blakelock, were involved in earlier schemes such as Arthurs Hill and Bishops Avenue Newcastle. Arthurs Hill won a National Considerate Constructors Award for excellent workmanship and Quality Standards. This is just another example of how Brambledown are widely recognised as one of The North Easts leading Civils and Hard Landscaping Contractors (as well as soft Landscaping) with most of these works invlolving Hard Landscaping and Construction works.
Completed so far by Brambledown at Greater High Cross are:
