Brambledown was formed in 1972 and incorporated on 28 September 1972. Using the combined skills of a horticulturalist and agricultural contractor, the company quickly established a reputation for excellence within the landscape industry. One of the founding directors remains with the company to this day.

We currently employ over 100 full time staff based at various sites in the North East and Yorkshire. All our staff are fully qualified to perform their jobs, and the company has an on-going training programme to ensure that the highest standards are maintained. From time to time we also use sub contractors for some specialist tasks, all of whom have to undergo a rigorous vetting procedure to get on our supplier list.

The company owns a fleet of modern and reliable vehicles and machinery, ranging from tractors and mowers to excavators and other commercial vehicles. We also have our own nursery, although much of our plant material is purchased from major nurseries throughout the UK.
