At the recent prestigious annual BALI Awards Ceremony held in London, Brambledown were presented with a Principal Award. This means they were chosen above 4 other winningschemes in their category to land the main award.

The contract represents Phase 3 of the land renewal works of the former Herrington Colliery. This is a large and complex landscape contract comprising 25km of hedges, 17km of paths and bridleways, 40ha of trees and 5ha of water features and a large amphitheatre created from graded, grassed embankments. It has created an embryo country park that is already attracting large numbers of visitors throughout the year.Since its completion the Park has gone on to become the site where the County Show is held, attracting thousands of visitors over a two day period. It also recently staged The Radio One Roadshow.
